About

Adventures of Tarn Taran Kaur

Tarn Taran Kaur has been teaching Kundalini Yoga internationally since 1972. Her wit and wisdom touch the hearts of all. She has learned the sensitive art of guiding an individual through the process of awakening his or her inner grace, strength and potential.

She was born and raised in Seattle, Washington, USA. In 1972 she started to practice Kundalini Yoga and was immediately inspired to learn as much as she could. Six months later Tarn Taran Singh and her moved to Amsterdam. There they both taught Kundalini Yoga, built a yogic community, and expanded the Golden Temple Vegetarian Restaurant.

In 1975 they moved to Hamburg, Germany, where they established the first German Kundalini Yoga community, 3HO Deutschland (a non-profit national yoga school and Kundalini Yoga teachers association), The Golden Temple Vegetarian Restaurant, and the European Yogi Tea Company.

In 1998, they returned to the United States, where they were employed as executives in 3HO, KRI, and Yogi Tea corporations. Tarn Taran Kaur served as CEO and Executive Director from 1998 to 2008.

In mid 2002 Tarn Taran Kaur left the business world and focused her efforts to teach pregnancy yoga trainings, to support women in their journey from woman to mother, and to build conscious yogic communities. Today there are thousands of Kundalini Yoga classes for pregnancy around the globe.

Tarn Taran Singh and Kaur have been married and have practiced Kundalini Yoga together since 1972. They are blessed with one daughter, Madhur Nain Webster, who is a California-licensed Professional Therapist and a Kundalini Yoga Professional Trainer. They are also blessed with two grandsons.
